The man behind the camera
Family centric Photography
It started with a hand-me-down and a pipe dream. Photography had been a family trade once before when that same hand-me-down had been taking photos in my mother's hands many years ago, in a previous life, but I had no idea if I could turn it into something the way she had. Nevertheless, it called to me, and I knew I had to try. My kids were starting to grow and I watched in real time how all the sessions I'd dragged them into the yard for were preserving vital moments in their lives in a way my memories or retellings never could, and it polarized me. They deserved it, my wife deserved it, I deserved it.
I want to bring that feeling to everybody. Graduations, weddings, kids, aging relatives, a new puppy, there will always be moments we miss while we're rushing to bring our bigger dreams to life, and I've spent my years cultivating a special focus for those details so that you can look back and remember what you're truly working for, and what truly matters.
The beginning of My journey

Navy Blue Angels - Atlanta, Georgia

My journey into photography began in 2022 at the Atlanta Airshow. Determined to capture the Navy Blue Angels with something more powerful than a smartphone, I borrowed my mom’s old DSLR — even though I had no idea how to use it. Since then I've been to several air shows and worked hard to develop a strong aptitude for capturing things in motion, and editing to bring out the best in them.
In a domestic photography setting I use this skill to make sure even the craziest shots of your kids and pets come out crisp and perfect for framing/printing so that your photos look incredible no matter whether you're scaling to a locket or a billboard.
Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks - Lockwood, Missouri

After I'd been to a few airshows with a professional (albeit outdated) DSLR, astrophotography quickly became my second love. To call it "challenging" to capture nightlife would be an understatement, and it felt like the next big hurdle for me at the time to balance a well lit subject without a washed out background. My obsession with night photography only grew when I bought my first Canon flagship mirrorless camera and began to "see" the things our eyes couldn't even detect.
Determined to inspire, I use professional programs like Adobe Lightroom to bring a surreal, larger-than-life feel to my photography, and I have a knack for removing powerlines and tweaking unsightly architecture.
